Miller, Stafford, Mekinulov, Cone and Lefebvre

It was a nice experience on Sunday December 30th where 2 Sabres players came to visit the BPO. Drew Stafford and Ryan Miller were playing on stage one song with us.

NHL Power Ranking 10

Detroit: seriously can anyone beat them?

Calgary, the Flames are Red hot with 6 straight win (and away) and points in last 9 games.

Ottawa, Sens are also on a 6 winning stretch and points in last 7 games

Edmonton, points in last 6 games, they don't have choice to come back in ranks if they don't want to miss the playoffs second time.

Buffalo: 4 straight wins. 5 wins in last 6 games. They are coming back!

San Jose, 7-3 last 10 games.

Phoenix are stunning right now with an amazing trip of 4 victories over 5

Colorado have points in 5 of last 6 games.

Florida are performing well with points in 5 of last 6 games

Toronto are like a pest. They are always close to everybody. They played very well last couple weeks.

His Choice

Born in Buffalo of father fan of Habs, which team will Paul-Alexandre root for? I will let him choose, I promise. If he wants to be a Coyotes fan even, I'll let him.

I won't tolerate Flyers, Hurricanes, Ducks or Maple Leafs though

No available numbers

For a new player playing for The Habs, they have to see what numbers are available. Not only you can't take the numbers worn by actual teammates, but also they have to respect the several retired numbers.

1 - 2 - 4 - 5 - 7 - 9 - 10 - 12(2 players) - 16 - 18 - 29

7 of the first 10 and 8 of the first 12 are retired.
Next will be 11 worn by Saku Koivu.

MacArthur returned and scored

General MacArthur once said: "I shall return". Well last night, Clarke MacArthur returned from the points leader in AHL to Buffalo and scored the winning goal of 2-1 OT win of Sabres over the Bruins.

Tut revealed

Finally!
After 3 thousands and three hundred years, they revealed how King Tutankhamun looked like and it will change my life forever.

Can you make Mozart next? and why not King Theoden.

24 hours Walgreen

What possibly were you doing Shia? Shia Laboeuf was arrested for trespassing a Walgreen.

Quoting yahoo news: LaBeouf told Entertainment Weekly in June that he deliberately avoided the lifestyle that has turned the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears into tabloid targets.

Well, it's up to young actors like him to prove that. I liked him a lot in Disturbia and Transformers. He will be seen in the new Indiana Jones movie.

Better late than never

Sabres are scoring late in the last 2 games but pretty much decimates their opponents first by the score, and by a heartbreaker.

1) vs Washington:
Washington was leading 1-0 when Spacek scored at 14:51 in the second period and then 6 more goals for a 7-3 victory

2) vs Toronto
Toronto was leading 2-0 when Mair scored 8:12 in the third period and then 4 more goals for a 5-4 OT win with 3 seconds to play.

Sabres don't need Briere or Drury. They can still come back from behind and win.

Good the be back in arena

Well hockey season is on the way since a 2 weeks and I have been to my first game live. a 6-0 Sabres victory over the poor Thrashers who seemed lost yesterday.
I was talking to a friend and even HD TV or a 70 inch TV screen won't beat the effect of being there at the arena. Actually the new jumbotron at the arena is gorgeous.
Can't wait for next game, and I might be switching side for one night since Montreal is visiting Buffalo.

Arghh Bills

I went to sleep late to catch the exciting end of the Monday night game. It was Buffalo for the first time in 13 years. But I feel empty because Bills lost again in the last second by a field goal...done twice at 53 yards. Bills had a 5 interceptions and one fumble for them, but still manage to loose the game. Just frustrating a little.

Saving trees?

Citibank is annoying me. I have a credit card with them so whenever I login into my account to pay the bill, I see the big advertisement about going paperless instead of receiving a monthly bill. Proposing to customers to save a tree is fine, but I personally get 4-5 letters from them per week, pre-approving me for a credit card application (which I aldready have).

Of course I could call to remove my address from the mailing list but the point is that I don't get so many spam letters and the ones I received are 90% from Citibank.

Actions speak louder than words.

Marriage= less $

For most of couples, you always end up spending more money. After reviewing my 2006 financial report and how it's going so far this year 2007, this year is a big save of money by far with a 3 people family.
Well last year I went to Philippines 4 times and lots of talk on the phone international meanwhile.
Less money on Entertainment, Restaurants, Hotels and trips, International money spent. But more money on gaz, health care, Target, Beth Bath and Beyond...and BabiesRus.

Married life rocks! It's the best, trust me.

Stop Briere!

Briere is an enemy now. Ex-Sabres did not want to resign for Buffalo OR sign for Montreal. That makes does make him my favorite player anymore now. Here 2 shots of upcoming PS3 game NHL 08 from EA sports.
