Paul-Alexandre

Well, it's anytime from now! Doctor said his position in her belly makes it believe he's ready. We will patientely wait.
We chose Paul-Alexandre for a name. Composed names are popular in Quebec so we decided it would be unique. Christine and I are both Catholic so Paul comes from one of the apostles (a late one) and Christine loves Alexandre as a name. We had to be quick choosing a name because we got to make the a passport as fast as possible because in August we are going to the great country of Canada!

We are currently ending our baby shopping. We have 2 items left on our list. One is quite big. I decided I would treat the baby with a very good stroller... or should I say I treat myself with it. Owner of a Jeep Liberty since 2002, I would feel wrong to choose any other brand than Jeep itself.

This is what we are getting for him:

Hockey thoughts

It's nearly the end of hockey, I will throw everything I have in minds.
  1. Three times in a row Canada is represented in the Finals, 3 times failing with 3 different teams; Ottawa had surely the best Canadian team of the 3 but they are the worst with only 1 victory. We can say it one more time, the Sens are still chocking at winning the Cup. It does not matter if you passed into the final, only the winner is remembered.
  2. Todd Marchant of the Ducks, is native of Buffalo.
  3. Some people said there are more Canadians in the Ducks than Senators. Well yes, in numbers, its only because the Sens have a good number of Europeans and only 2 Americans. Ducks have more Americans but only 3 Europeans.
  4. Sabres season was exciting. President's trophy. But it ended like last year when we expected to get to Final. Very disappointing. Last year, the defense was crippled with 3 regulars injured. This year not even one player injured. Even Gaustad came back in time for the second round. The way I see it, they didn't have the heart this year. You really have to want to get into the Final and I didnt feel any of that.
  5. About my Habs? not even in the playoffs. They were 4th and dominating at Christmas then when I came back from the Philippines until the end of season, they dropped to the 10th place. WTH?
  6. The little Habs, the Hamilton Bulldogs who are the farm club of Montreal are on the way to win the Calder Cup. They are currently winning 2-1 in theirs series.
That's it for now. I can't even think because I am a little frustrated with hockey results right now.

Memorial day as a Sith

These pics are from Monday the 28th of May for the Memorial parade on Delaware avenue. Zany Coffee and Collectibles asked us, The North Ridge to appear in costumes. It was my first time in my new mask of Darth Nihilus. Christine and I had a blast, it was pretty fun!

Winning 10

We played soccer 2 weeks ago, the day before the shower. It was fun but tiring.

Most of people here are my friends from Montreal: Carol-Ann, Julie, Sophie, Andrea, Martin, Thomas, Francis, Antoine and Tim. Shieh Jian took the picture.

Highlights of the day: Italian striker Zaffaroni scoring 4 times on 4 assists of Filipino center midfielder Lefebvre. French goalie Renaudie stopped more than 50 shots from both teams. Canadian attacking midfielder Anctil did extremely well also. Sophie scored the winning goal with a penalty kick.
