Lost returns Thursday

The Right Choice

Habs emotionally drained me in game 6. I got some calls from Montreal after the game and we talked about how depressed we were and Monday everything would be over.
I was ready to find a babysitter, go on a date (dinner-movie) with my wife and not watch the game (DVR it in case of victory). But in the afternoon, somebody talked to me about the late years of the old Quebec Nordiques and the loyal fans still watching the game defeats after defeats.

So we decided to stay and watch the game. Moral of the story: never, NEVER let down your team! Habs did learn the hard way, Have some hearts to advance in the next round! Good job Kostistyns, Captaine Suisse and Carey!

No Sacrifice made

Sometimes you gotta take a sacrifice in the playoffs and putting your body on the line by blocking a shot. Yesterday, Patrick Sorensen blocked a shot by Mike Green but the puck came back to Green and he scored the tying goal for the Capitals while Sorensen is lying helpless on the ice in pain. He might have a testicles removed because of that shot. Knowing the results of the game, this blocked shot didn't help his team winning. Poor guy.

Time to go

Vincent Lecavalier and Brad Richards have been teammates since age 14. They met at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Saskatchewan, a boarding school with an excellent hockey program. They became friends and roomates as they were the youngest players of the team. A few years later, they were on the same junior team, The Oceanic of Rimouski.

Both were drafted in 1998 by the Tampa Bay Lightning but Lecavalier was drafted first overall and Richards in the 3rd round. Lecavalier started to play in the 1998-1999 season and Richards joined later in the 2000-2001 campaign. They won together the Stanley Cup in 2004. They could not defend their championship the following year because of the lockout. So they both joined the same european team in the Russian Pro Hockey League called the Aq Bars Kazan. After the lockout, things got difficult for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Richards was traded to Dallas before the trade deadline on February 26th, 2008.

On top of being teammates for almost all their lives, they represented Canada at the 2006 Olympics where they failed to get a medal.

Blockbuster vs Netflix

Blockbuster is so much butter because it's faster and you get way more movies with the store trade-ins. When the movie is returned in store, they already register the return so its relatively faster. With only mailing options with Netflix, it can get pretty long before getting the next movie. So guess which one I'm using?

Well after all, Netflix because they have more filipino movies and Christine can enjoy it.

I can't believe its not butter, but it is!!!

After arguing several times with my mother and Shieh-Jian, I finally understood that I can't believe its not butter is margarine. I really thought that it was butter for months: I can't believe its not butter, but it is butter. like 2 negatives is a +...

Georgia pictures

Check this album for some pictures of our recent trip at the St. Simon Islands in Georgia.

My album

Mysterious Death

I haven't seen many Heath Ledger movies, but I enjoy his acting in The Brothers Grimm, The Order and The Patriot. I am looking forward seeing him as the Joker but it will feel weird.

The Bruins Dominators

If the Habs would only play the Bruins, they would win the Stanley Cup. Yesterday was the ninth consecutive victory over the Boston team.

On the other hand, this picture tells everything about the Sabres right now.
