Thanks Sabres for great season. Unfortunately, they came short once again in Conference finals, this time loosing 4 games to 1 to the Ottawa Senators.
It takes long time for a great team to win the Cup. The Sens are an excellent team since a lot of years and they have been cursed in the post-season. It's their turns.
But the Ducks will wait for them. The Sens will have to be even more creative than they were against Sabres to win against the "mighty" Ducks of Anaheim. It should be interesting.

Greatest team, greatest come back part 1

I only posted when Sabres win. I was affraid to write this one about an early elimination. But winning against a very powerful and confident team in Ottawa was a great start of the greatest come back of all time. My friends from Montreal will be here to watch Saturday's game. It should be interesting. Ottawa leads 3-1 but should be 3-2 Saturday late afternoon.

Brawl at Boston Pops

New York, New York

Islanders, Rangers. Now Sabres are back where they were last year. It's going to be a hard 3rd round against Ottawa. I say conference finals are even harder than the final. But if the Sabres beat the Sens, it will be more rewarding.

Drury's miracle

Drury always scored the crucial goals. It took a week before the next victory but this one is more than sweet. Max scored in OT to win the game 2-1. Devils and Canucks are now eliminated. 7 downs, 9 to go, 6 teams left.
